Restorations

If you find something that you would like to bring back to life, as it was intended, or made in to something completely different, give us a call we would love to share our suggestions.

Bench

This bench had been rudimentally patched up over the years.  We stripped out the old seat and repaired the frame.  The new seat boards are recycled pallet wood. The bench was lime waxed to finish.

Desk

A client bought a desk on ebay that needed some TLC. We made 2 new drawers, sanded it down, revarnished the top and painted the base in Annie Sloan Chalk paint before waxing.

A Metal Framed Bench

The wooden seat  and back of this old metal framed bench had rotted.  We replaced each of the planks and brought the bench back into service.

Kitchen Table

This old kitchen table had a rotten top and 3 legs. We replaced the legs and made a new top, retaining the drawers and side panels.  The table was finished in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and clear wax.

Tea Chest

This Tea Chest had sat in a dark corner of a barn for many years.  After a quick clean up and replacement of the edging around the lid and base of the trunk, it was ready to be used in our clients sitting room as a side table.
